Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, OR YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT, POWER, AND AUTHORITY TO ACT ON BEHALF OF AND BIND ANY BUSINESS, ORGANIZATION, OR OTHER ENTITY YOU REPRESENT, DO NOT ACCESS OR OTHERWISE USE THE SITE.
Changes to this Policy We reserve the exclusive right to make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time, in our sole discretion. Your continued access to and use of the Site constitutes your agreement to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy posted at such time. You acknowledge and agree that you accept this Privacy Policy (and any amendments hereto) each time you access the Site. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly. Information We May Collect To the maximum extent possible, we collect as little personal information from you as necessary. Personal information we may collect ("Personal Information") includes:
Your email address and any other Personal Information you provide when communicating with us or registering for the Program. Such information is used to administer your participation and to communicate with you; IP address, device and browser information, cookie identifiers, domain server, and data related to usage, performance, site security, traffic patterns, and general location, collected when you use the Site; Information we may receive about you from third-party services and organizations, including where you access third-party services through the Site. Payments. When you pay through Stripe Checkout (for example, an evaluation fee), Stripe processes your payment details. If you opt to save a payment method, Stripe stores it for later checkout sessions. We may receive Stripe identifiers and limited card details (such as card brand, last four digits, and expiry), but not the full card number or CVC/CVV. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for information about Stripe's processing.
Authentication. We use Privy, Inc. ("Privy") as our authentication provider. When you create an account or log in, Privy processes your email address and login credentials on our behalf. See Privy's Privacy Policy for information about Privy's processing.
Reward Payments. Where you are eligible to receive a reward payment under the Program, or an affiliate commission payment, we collect the destination details you provide, such as a PayPal email address or bank account details. If you choose to receive a reward payment to a cryptocurrency wallet, we collect the wallet address you provide. Transactions to that address are recorded on a public ledger that we do not control, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the address you give us.
How and Why We Use Your Personal Information We use your Personal Information only for:
Internal and operational purposes, including ensuring security, identifying irregular website behavior, preventing fraudulent activity, and improving security; Administering your participation in the Program, including evaluations and any applicable reward payments; Assessing, analyzing, and improving the services we provide through the Site; Processing purchases and, if you opt in through Stripe Checkout, making a saved method available in later checkout sessions. For EEA users, we rely on consent for this storage; saving a method does not authorize recurring or off-session charges; Administering and making reward payments; complying with accounting, tax, and legal obligations; and supporting financial administration, security, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. For EEA users, the legal bases are performance of our agreement with you, legal obligations, and our legitimate interests. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising We use cookies and similar technologies on the Site. Some are necessary for the Site to function. Others are used for analytics and to measure and improve our advertising.
Advertising. We use advertising and measurement tools provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (or Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for users in the EEA and UK) ("Meta"), including the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API. These tools may collect information such as your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you visit and the actions you take on the Site (for example, registering or purchasing an evaluation), and, where you have an account, a hashed version of your email address. We share this information with Meta so that Meta can measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show ads for the Program to people who may be interested in it. Meta may combine this information with other information it holds about you. Meta's use of this information is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy, available at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Consent. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction that requires it, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies or sharing your information with Meta for advertising purposes. You can withdraw that consent at any time through the cookie settings on the Site.
Your choices. You can control how Meta uses your information for advertising through the ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account. You can also limit or block cookies through your browser settings, although some features of the Site may not work correctly if you do.
Disclosure of Data We may disclose information about you:
To the extent required by law, or where we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with official investigations or legal proceedings (including subpoenas, search warrants, or court orders), whether initiated by governmental or law-enforcement officials or private parties; In connection with a merger, division, restructuring, or other change of control; To our subsidiaries or affiliates, only where necessary for operational purposes; or To Stripe for purchases and optional saved payment methods; to Privy for authentication; to Meta as described under Cookies, Analytics and Advertising below; and to payment providers, financial institutions, or other intermediaries involved in reward payments. If we must disclose your Personal Information to comply with official investigations or legal proceedings, we may not be able to ensure that the recipients will maintain its privacy or security.
Data Retention We store your data for a reasonable period based on how long the specific data is reasonably required for legal or business purposes, after which we securely delete or destroy it. Aggregated data that cannot identify an individual is retained similarly. We may retain certain information for longer where required for: security, fraud, and abuse prevention; financial record-keeping; compliance with legal or regulatory requirements; and continuity of our services.
Replacing or deactivating a reward payment method stops its use for new payment requests but does not automatically delete it; we may retain it and related records for pending reward payments, audits, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and accounting, tax, or legal obligations. A saved payment method may remain available in Stripe Checkout until removed; you can remove it in a later checkout session or request removal at support@vestfunded.com. Removal stops it from being offered for future purchases but does not delete related transaction, dispute, fraud-prevention, or compliance records.
Your Rights At any time, please email us at support@vestfunded.com if you would like: (a) to receive a copy of your data or information about its collection; (b) to correct your data; (c) to delete or remove your data; (d) to transfer your data to another entity (subject to our commercially reasonable limitations); (e) to revoke your consent to this Policy; or (f) to object to any portion of this Policy or the collection of your data. All requests will be addressed as soon as commercially reasonable and are subject to our obligations under applicable law.
Children Our Site is not directed to collect any data from people under the age of 18. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to submit data to our Site. If you believe a child may have provided us with their data, please contact us as soon as possible.
Data Integrity & Security We take information privacy and security seriously and work to protect the Personal Information you provide from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, using safeguards such as encryption, digital and physical access controls, non-disclosure agreements, and other technical and organizational measures. However, no electronic transmission, storage, or processing of information can be entirely secure. We cannot guarantee that our security measures will never be defeated or fail, and you should not expect that your Personal Information will always remain private or secure.
Supervisory Authority Oversight If you are a data subject whose data we process, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection regulator in one or more European Union member states.
